Careers Wales provides free, bilingual, impartial careers information, advice and guidance for all ages – bringing education and business together.Developing people through lifelong career planning. At the heart of social and economic prosperity.

Our Aim

Careers Wales is funded by the Welsh Government and reports to the Careers Policy Branch of the Department for Education and Skills. Our key strategic aims are defined by our brief from the Welsh Government:

•To help individuals to move successfully into education, training and sustainable employment and make informed decisions about their careers and learning options.

•To encourage individuals to be ambitious about their careers and personal goals and committed to lifelong learning.

•To be acknowledged as the high quality market leader in lifelong career planning and education business links.

•To make a positive, expert contribution to national curriculum development and relevant debate about adult and young person’s career development.

If you would like some more information about Careers Wales services, please give us a call. Our careers centres and careers shops are open all year round, even in the school and college holidays. You can drop in for careers advice and information or to look at our vacancy boards for jobs and training.
